At Purdue, the Korean Program is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of Korean language, history, and culture.

Our provides a full sequence of Korean language courses (KOR 101–401) designed for all proficiency levels, as well as content courses that explore Korean food culture, cinema, literature, society, and traditional music.

Our language and culture courses are designed for all levels—from beginners to advanced learners.
Students can pursue a Korean Minor and enhance their cross-cultural competence through engaging instruction, authentic materials, and real-world applications. Through these courses, students not only develop linguistic skills but also gain insight into the cultural values, artistic expressions, and social dynamics that shape modern and traditional Korea.
