Scott Phillips is a Creative Director at Ubisoft Quebec, a premiere maker of AAA video games and part of Ubisoft - a multi-national video game maker headquartered in Paris, France. Scott has worked on numerous AAA video game titles since joining the video game industry in early 2002 at a studio in central Illinois called Volition. Working his way from Jack-of-all-Trades to Animator to Designer to Design Director - Scott shipped 5 major titles for publisher THQ and Deep Silver during his 12 year career at the studio. Among these titles were Saints Row 2, 3, and 4 - some of the most profitable and well regarded titles for those publishers. Scott has presented and spoken twice at GDC - the Game Developers Conference - held yearly in San Francisco for premiere video game developers. In 2014 Scott moved to the great frozen North of Canada and the French speaking land of Quebec to work on the world renown Assassins Creed franchise. There Scott contributed to Assassins Creed Syndicate and Assassins Creed Odyssey as the Game Director. Visiting multiple countries around the world for both research and marketing trips, Scott has traveled the world and represented teams of hundreds of people in front of the press. Most recently Scott worked on Ubisoft Quebec's first fully self-created IP - Immortals Fenyx Rising. Scott is now a Creative Director on an unannounced title at the studio. Scott braves the cold Canadian winters with his wife and two children, while slowly learning to speak French.
