Sara is a passionate and innovative communicator that takes pride in her artistic approach to strategy and ability to build enduring relationships across any organization. A graduate of Lockheed Martin's Communications Leadership Development Program and recipient of multiple internal awards, she is dedicated to continued professional development and bringing the best of her work to the team.

 

In her current role as the Sustainment Communications Lead with Lockheed Martin, she supports the Vice President of Sustainment Operations with employee and executive communications. Also providing support to Aero Sustainment Business Development, Sara has been leading the communications planning process for new digital flightline capabilities and supports Sustainment focused tradeshows. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Sara is completing her master's degree in Communications with a concentration in Media Management from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

 

During her time at Purdue, Sara studied Public Relations and Strategic Communication. She was part of the Golden Silks Colorguard in the "All-American" Marching Band, the Purdue Student Union Board and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She and her husband live in Fort Worth, Texas and they just recently adopted a new puppy named Bonnie.
