Kat Braz is the owner and partner of the boutique creative agency, The ESC Plan. After losing her dream job with a dream team in October 2020 (buy her a drink to hear that story), Kat spent a few months leaning into her depression and self-medicating with bougie cocktails and video games before embracing her destiny as a freelancer. Capitalizing on the side hustle she started in February 2019 with her two best creative buds, she now works half the hours and earns a lot more money. The best part of all, she only collaborates with nice people who appreciate her contributions -- and she attends a heck of a lot fewer meetings.

She's also a community volunteer junkie, an architecture enthusiast and an improv comic who loves cake, live theater, historic buildings, hobby board games and great fiction. Kat lives in an 1855 brick house with her husband, their friendly but ill-mannered rescue dog, and two feisty kitties.
