William Bart Collins received his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. His research relates to using information and communication technologies in telemedicine and other patient/provider healthcare contexts. 

Collins serves as the Director of Healthcare Communications/Health Informatics and Learning Technologies and Faculty Scholar for the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering in  Discovery Park. He is the former director of ITaP’s  Instructional Development Center.  

Collins helped lead the development of and executes the Lamb School’s online master’s program in communication.
