Sutton Tyson

Sutton Tyson is a strategic communications leader with a dedicated career spanning national news, federal law enforcement, nonprofit advocacy, and entrepreneurial consulting.

An Emmy-nominated Editorial Producer for CBS News, Sutton leads political booking and high-level media strategy for national broadcast programs. She maintains close relationships across Capitol Hill and federal agencies, producing high-impact live TV segments and securing exclusive interviews with congressional leadership and political leaders.

Additionally, Sutton is the co-founder of Tyson Global Advisors, where she advises startups, small businesses, and executives on digital marketing, brand elevation, and communications strategy to build sustainable foundations for growth.

Previously, Sutton served as a Public Affairs Specialist and spokesperson for the FBI, where she managed global press inquiries, handled breaking news and reputation communications, oversaw mass casualty crisis response, and prepared executive briefing materials for the FBI Director.

Deeply committed to social impact, Sutton serves on the Purdue University College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Advisory Board and also mentors Purdue students pursuing careers in Washington, D.C.

She earned her degree in Mass Communication from Purdue University and resides in Arlington, Virginia, with her wife and two dogs.
