Diversity, Equity, Inclusion

In the Lamb School, we strive to create and foster a culture of community, celebration, and collaboration. We want to be a community where everyone belongs. We want to be a school where students, faculty, and community members collaborate to learn together and develop innovative and positive communication solutions to the challenges our world faces. We want to celebrate the good in all of us and the good that we do. We want to be a place where each person with their different characteristics and traits is not only included but celebrated and embraced with belonging and respect.

We know we’re not there yet. We know we need your help to get there.

Our discipline of communication is all about elevating voices and creating effective messages and movements. Help us move our culture towards equitable and authentic community, collaboration, and celebration for everyone by adding your voice to the conversation. Follow us on Instagram and X and like us on Facebook for upcoming opportunities to use your voice.

By the Numbers

We’re working not only to increase inclusion and belonging in the Lamb School, but diversity, too. Here are the most recent numbers we have that show demographic breakdowns. Please note that we recognize that “international” is not a race. It is not our intention to erase the racial identity of our excellent international students. The numbers below reflect the way that the University collects and maintains data to be in line with federal grant and visa guidelines. Additionally, we do not currently have access to data for different gender identities outside of the binary.
