Solve today’s problems and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges
From interdisciplinary collaborations to community partnerships, our faculty and graduate students are dedicated to research that solves today’s problems and prepares us for tomorrow’s challenges that have yet to make themselves known. We’re committed to supporting our graduate students and helping them to thrive as they grow into the scholars, educators, and practitioner-leaders who will continue to take giant leaps in communication and organizational development. With our undergraduate students, that commitment takes the shape of providing a thorough grounding in theory in line with Purdue’s tradition of excellence, all while curating meaningful applied experiences both in and outside of classrooms, experiences that have real impacts on people and organizations in our community and beyond. Outside of our school, we are committed to our campus and local communities, offering support and service through classes, student organizations, research partnerships, and our Purdue Presentation Center.
Centers for Collaboration and Engagement
In addition to our dedication to our students and research, we are committed to building bridges to the media industry and to partnering with the C-SPAN Archives, located in Purdue’s Research Park, through the Center for C-SPAN Scholarship & Engagement. Approximately 400 undergraduate students and 50 graduate students are enrolled in the Lamb School on campus, as well as more than 200 online students enrolled in our Master’s of Strategic Communication program.
